Havelock Farmers and Artisan Market: Fridays from 1-7 pm beginning mid June to Thanksgiving Weekend.

Pastured raised chicken and pork must be ordered early in the year, for growing throughout the spring, summer and fall months. Order your fresh Christmas turkeys for delivery or pickup before December 25th!

About

We are a 5th generation Maple Syrup producing family making pure maple products on our 300 acre property, located on the north shore of Rice Lake in Peterborough County. We currently have about 1000 taps with more available trees in the sugar bush to expand our business in the future. Most of our sap is collected using gravity fed pipelines, with only a small portion being collected using buckets. We boil our sap in our stainless steel evaporator using the wood cut from the farm. Our sales of maple syrup, sugar and butter consist of our loyal customer base at the farm gate, at local events within the community of Asphodel-Norwood and at the Friday Havelock Farmers’ and Artisan Market. Pasture-raised chicken, pork and turkeys are available through pre-orders in limited quantities. Custom sawmilling is also available on the farm.

Products

Pure Maple Syrup

Sizes range from 250 ml to 4 L containers. Smaller bottles are also available for special events such as wedding and anniversary favours. Please contact us to discuss your ideas and options!

Maple Butter – 250 ml Jar

Maple butter is 100% pure maple syrup which is simply cooked longer and then stirred to create a delicious maple spread. It is excellent on freshly toasted bagels and toast, spread on a baked ham or as a glaze with grilled salmon.

Maple Sugar

Leaves – package of 3 sugar leaves. Larger quantities/boxes are available (limited supplies)

Granulated Maple Sugar – Fine and coarse maple sugar can be used in place of any sweetener and is excellent for baked goods, sprinkled on yogurt and oatmeal, or added to your morning coffee!
